The last couple of days I updated Nik to 6.1.1. Updated to Affinity 2.1 and the plugins no longer worked within Affinity, the opened as standalone application with only the option to Save As Preset. However, last evening I updated from Affinity Photo V2 to Affinity Photo V2.1, and today all of the Nik Collection 6 plugins are missing the Apply button. the unknow is that Nik doesn’t work as in Ps, there is no going back for further edit. nik 6 actually install well with AP2, when you open an image and click filter / plaugin, you’ll see all Nik plugin there. I have the last version of Big Sur on a Mac Mini M1. Affinity Photo’s manual also contains a few lines on how to set AP to work with plugins. When I open a tif file in Affinity Photo and try to use Silver Efex or Viveza nothing is happening. Plugins are programs developed by third parties that integrate with Affinity Photo and add new functionalities to your editor. I have installed the plugins in Applications/Nik Collection/Dxo. I also have a guide for processing X-Trans files in Capture One I uninstalled Nik Collection and reinstalled it and it still does not work. I can see all the plugins using Filters-Plugins-Nik on the laptop but all but one (HDR Efex Pro 2) are greyed out. Ive successfully installed the Nik Plugins for use with Affinity Photo 1.8.1 on my iMac, but, having followed exactly the same procedure several times, I cant get them to work on my MacBook pro. I have Lightroom Presets, Photoshop ACR Presets, Textures and e-books all available for download.
